Celtic eventually run out 2-1 winners against Alloa in a hard fought Saturday night in the Scottish Cup. Goals from Giorgios Giakoumakis and Liel Abada were enough to see us through and we’ll now face Raith Rovers in the 5th round next month. Ange Postecoglou will be concerned over injuries picked up by captain Callum McGregor, Yosuke Ideguchi and Abada but will be hopeful that all pull through as eyes now turn to Wednesday’s crunch league fixture against Hearts at Tynecastle.
