A Result No One Seen Coming | Dissecting Domestic Defeat + Celtic’s Champions League Home Advantage

Celtic’s 38 game unbeaten league run came to a surprising end at the weekend with a 2-0 defeat by St Mirren which absolutely no one seen coming!

It was our first loss in the league in almost a full calendar year, and although not a result anyone wanted it may just remind all concerned that there’s still work to be done if we’re to reach the levels Ange Postecoglou wants to take us.

Elsewhere a Champions League stalemate with Shakhtar Donetsk may well prove to be a valuable point with Celtic sitting in a good position in the group if we can take care of both Leipzig and Shakthar at Celtic Park during October.

The players now break for international duty, and whilst for some that provides an opportunity to represent their country, others will benefit from the chance to rest and recuperate at Lennoxtown ahead of a relentless run of fixtures in October.

Paddy, Mif & Sinky discuss all of the above and more in this episode of The Celtic Exchange Weekly.
