Celtic can and will perform better than they did today but overall it was satisfactory performance against Ross County and one that sees the Bhoys open the campaign with an all-important win on Flag Day.
A surprise in the line-up saw David Turnbull take the place of Reo Hatate and the Scotland midfielder rewarded the trust of the manager with a two goal display and the man of the match award.
Kyogo opened his account for the campaign with a tidy first half goal and the current Player of The Year could have picked up man of the match himself with a classy all round display.
Matt O’Riley rounded off the scoring for the Hoops with an emphatic second half finish after more good work by Kyogo.
All in all Brendan Rodgers will be pleased with the winning start, but will accept that there’s still work to be done and signings to be made if we’re to overcome the tougher tests that we’ll face in the weeks and months ahead.
Tino & Brydo were on the mics to bring you all the big talking points from the Flag Day win.
