Celtic justifiably swept the boards at the annual end of season awards this weekend, with Kyogo, Jota, Matt O’Riley and Ange Postecoglou all receiving individual awards for their efforts across the campaign.
With the league and league cup safely in the bag, and with an unprecedented 8th domestic treble still to play for, it was the only logical outcome.
Such is the collective spirit amongst the squad however they would trade the individual awards in a heartbeat if it guaranteed treble success at Hampden next month.
Ange will have much to think about between now and then following the result at Ibrox, but he’ll undoubtedly have learned a lot about some of his players following the rare defeat, and he’ll be sure to put that knowledge to practice as his ongoing evolution of the squad continues.
