In the first episode of our “CSC Stories” series we were joined by two members of the Nottingham Pride of Erin CSC as they shared their Celtic stories with Tino.
Gerry Kennedy and Toty Young have been living in the Midlands for many years now but both hail from Glasgow, which has led to a lifetime of following Celtic Football Club.
Those years have including watching the Lisbon Lions at close quarters, the Quality Street Gang, a Centenary Year double and many more memories as proud supporters of our club.
That pride in being a Celtic supporter is what led to the formation of the Nottingham Pride of Erin CSC some 30 years ago – originally in the Pride of Erin Bar, but now located in the Greyfriars Social Club in the city’s St Ann’s area.
Gerry states that “There’s something special happening at Celtic Park at the minute” and he may just be right!
