”Every Day at Celtic Was Like Christmas To Me’” – Centenary Celt Peter Grant reflects on Living the Celtic Dream

Peter Grant - Living The Celtic Dream

Peter Grant is one of the rare few amongst us who got to live the dream of playing professional football for his boyhood club.

For Grant that club could only ever by Celtic.

Steeped in the traditions of the green and white by his grandparents, his burning ambition was to pull on the famous Hoops just once.

He managed to do so 483 times!

In the course of a 15 year career at Celtic Park he played in a midfield alongside club legends Paul McStay, Tommy Burns and Roy Aitken amongst many others, picking up a number of trophies along the way.

A part of our famous Centenary Team of 1988 Peter shares his stories of a unique time in the rich history of the club.

In a dressing room with the likes of Lisbon Legend Billy McNeill, Mick McCarthy and Frank McAvennie would you expect anything less!

  • Going Toe-to-Toe with Mick McCarthy
  • Winning the 1995 Scottish Cup for Tommy Burns
  • “Every Day at Celtic Was Like Christmas To Me!”
