Celtic made the trip to Ibrox far from favourites given a stuttering start to the season, but delivered a gritty performance on the day to ensure they left the southside with a massive win and with all 3 points.

Kyogo was once again the man who made the difference with a stunning strike on the stroke of half time and Celtic now head into the international break brimming with the confidence that such a win brings.

Stand in centre half Liam Scales played a huge part in the win and fully deserved the Man of The Match award for his display in the heart of Celtic’s defence.

The result couldn’t have landed at a better time and allows Celtic to now regroup during the international break after a hectic start to the campaign.
