Is Ange Now Prioritising Defence As Celtic’s Best Form of Attack?

Following confirmation that Japanese centre-half Yuki Kobayashi will become Celtic’s first signing of the January window, and with Canadian right-back Alistair Johnston set to follow, is it clear that Ange Postecoglou has now prioritised Celtic’s defence as an area for improvement?

Whilst our league form has been excellent so far, we’ve still conceded almost a goal a game (13 from 15 games) in the Scottish Premiership, whilst also conceding 15 from just 6 Champions League group games.

Ange made similar moves in the summer to strengthen defensively with the additions of Moritz Jenz (on loan from Lorient) and Alexandro Bernabei arriving from Argentina, but will he be happy to put away the cheque book (for now) once Kobayashi and Johnston arrive at Celtic Park?

Enjoy the latest instalment of The Celtic Exchange Weekly as Ange prepares to enter his 4th transfer window as Celtic manager.
