Budgets here at The Celtic Exchange have been tightened up meaning none of us would be jetting out to the inaugural Sydney Super Cup in Australia, however this morning we had the pleasure of speaking with one lucky fun who was there watching Celtic play live for the very first time!

Shane Beaton is from Melbourne (440+ miles from Sydney) and has been following Celtic for close to ten years.

He made a pact with his mate Vinny that if Celtic ever returned to Australia that they would be there – whatever it took – and today was that day!

This special episode tells us of Shane’s journey into Celtic, including the pride of watching Australian hero Ange Postecoglou lead out the side to face Sydney FC.
