Celtic dropped points for the second league game in succession with St Mirren leaving Celtic Park with a draw in our latest post-split fixture.

Should Ange Postecoglou and his players go on to clinch a treble in next month’s Scottish Cup Final none of this will ever be discussed of course, but in the context of this game in isolation it was another below-par performance.

It’s a natural response having already sewn up the league a couple of weeks ago, and we can only hope that the players can find the levels we know they’re capable of when it comes to the visit to Hampden in a couple of weeks time.
