Celtic maintained the 9 point lead at the top of the table thanks to a 2-1 win on the night but once again it was VAR stealing the headlines with yet another farcical display.

There seems to be a clear disconnect between the referees and their colleagues in the VAR room, as well as a general lack of consistency regarding offsides and penalty decisions and Celtic once again came down on the wrong side of the big decisions.

Ange wasn’t overly happy post-match, but more so with his own players “positional discipline” and there may well be some changes when St Johnstone come calling on Saturday.
