Celtic closed off their tour of Japan with a 1-0 win over Gamba Osaka thanks to a late strike from Alexandro Bernabei.

Brendan Rodgers took the opportunity to field completely different line-ups in each half as pre-season preparations gather pace ahead of our opener with Ross County in two weeks time.

New Bhoy Odin Thiago Made his debut in the second half with more valuable minutes for youngsters Rocco Vata, Ben McPherson and Bosun Lawal.

All in all its been a worthwhile trip to the Far East. Two games played at high tempo, plenty minutes in the legs in challenging conditions, and valuable time on the training pitch between Rodgers and the players.
