Jamesie Forrest wrote himself into the Celtic history books against Hibs  this afternoon as he became just the 30th player in our long and illustrious history to score 100 goals for the club.

He’s not a player that we always agree on here at The Celtic Exchange but he deserves all the praise going for the contribution he’s made for the club and for his impressive achievements over the years.

Giorgos Giakoumakis also added two goals to his tally with under fire Daizen maeda rounding things off as Celtic ran out eventual 6-1 winners against the Edinburgh side.

The result sees Ange Postecoglou’s side stretch their lead at the top to five points, with a substantial goal difference also providing some comfort there.
