IT WAS meant to be a difficult pitch, an awkward opponent, a potential banana skin fixture – but despite all of this Celtic showed their strength and absolutely blew Kilmarnock away with a five star display on a sunny afternoon in Ayrshire!
Kyogo got the ball rolling in the 7th minute and in truth Celtic didn’t look back from that point with Jota, Jenz, Starfelt and Giakoumakis all adding further goals.
Though he never got on the scoresheet (he rarely does!) real credit must also go to Greg Taylor who picked up the Man of the Match award in another impressive display.
The left back was the top man against his former employers and continues to improve considerably under Ange Postecoglou’s leadership.
It’s been a perfect start to the league campaign for the Hoops with 9 points and 10 goals to show from their three games so far as they extend their unbeaten league record to 35 games.
Tino & James were on the mics this afternoon to cover all the action from an enjoyable afternoon in Kilmarnock.
