The Final Whistle: Motherwell v Celtic | Scottish Premiership | Wednesday 9th November 2022

At times it wasn’t the free flowing football we know this Celtic side are capable but in the end it was still a deserved and relatively comfortable win for the Bhoys tonight at Fir Park.

Kyogo opened the scoring with his 11th goal of the season and incredibly that’s the 11th time in 14 league games that Celtic have taken the lead in the first 15 minutes of a game. A phenomenal stat!

Daizen Maeda came off the bench to put the Hoops two ahead before a late consolation from Motherwell but no one could complain that Celtic were worthy of all three points.

Once again we witnessed more VAR frustration with a classy Jota goal called off as well as a high challenge on Carl Starfelt which should have led to a red card for Josh Morris.

So far so bad with VAR and hopefully we see improvements after the World Cup break!

Tino was joined on the mics by James and Brydo to talk through all the key moments from tonight.
