Fresh from signing a new extended deal at the club, Matt O’Riley ghosted in at the back post on Saturday and with a 97th minute volley ensured that Celtic would be taking a fourth away win from four in this season’s Scottish Premiership.
His team-mate Reo Hatate had also put pen to paper on new terms just 24h prior to mark a great few days for the club on and off the park.
Meanwhile things have started to unravel on the other side of the city, whilst Brendan Rodgers side seem to be going from strength to strength – at least domestically.
The challenge now it to echo that form on the European stage and a win on Wednesday against Lazio in Matchday 2 of this season Champions League would be the perfect time to do so.
