The Warm Up Show: Celtic v Real Madrid | UEFA Champions League | Tuesday 6th September 2022

On Tuesday night under the Celtic Park disco lights, Celtic go head to head with Real Madrid in the toughest of starts to our Group F campaign.

The fourteen times Champions League/European Cup winners come calling on Matchday 1, setting up a showdown between our Champions League debutant Ange Postecoglou and Madrid’s Carlo Ancelloti – the most successful coach in the history of the tournament.

It’s a Real Madrid side top heavy with quality and includes global stars of the game such as Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior, Luca Modric and Toni Kroos.

Celtic however are in confident form and boast genuine top quality talent of our own in the shape of Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada and Jota amongst others, and will fancy themselves to cause an upset in front of a packed Celtic Park.

It’s all set to be a cracker and we could be set for a very special night in Paradise as we make our long awaited return to the champions League after a five year hiatus from the tournament.

The Celtic Exchange were in attendance at the official Champions League Media Conference ahead of the game and we hear from manager Ange Postecoglou at the end of this episode as he prepares for one of the biggest games in his career.

Tino & Brydo were on the mics to preview this huge fixture as Ange and the Bhoys return to European Football’s top table!
