Celtic make the short trip to Fir Park for tonight’s quarter final against Motherwell and will be looking to take a step closer to retaining the trophy that Ange Postecoglou and his men picked up at Hampden Park back in December of last year.
For new players such as Alexandro Bernabei, Moritz Jenz, Aaron Mooy and Sead Haksabanovic this will be their first chance of silverware with Celtic, and should Ange choose to rotate the squad for this one he should find himself with a group of players eager to impress.
Motherwell bet Inverness 4-0 in the previous round thanks to a Kevin Van Veen hat-trick but have found themselves in indifferent form in their six league fixtures since with only one win, alongside four defeats and a draw.
Cup football is a different animal though and Stevie Hammell’s men will be just as keen as the Bhoys to book their place at Hampden for the semi-finals.
Tino & James were on the mics to cover all the key talking points ahead of this one.
