Final Whistle: Top Of The Table But A Concerning Lack Of Creativity in St Johnstone Stalemate

Celtic remain top of the Scottish Premiership after a goal-less draw with St Johnstone, but that’s possibly the only positive to take from a seriously frustrating afternoon at Celtic Park.

Injury worries led to a pairing of Liam Scales and Gustaf Lagerbielke at centre half which is a worrying position to be in just 8 days from the first Glasgow Derby of the season.

Elsewhere we seem to lack the creativity that a Reo Hatate or the now departed Jota may have brought to proceedings.

Brendan Rodgers admitted after the game that we lacked “craft and imagination” and he and the board now have around 7 days to find those qualities from somewhere if we’re to be successful in the season ahead.

Tino & Cush were on the mics to bring you all the reaction from matchday 3 at Celtic Park.
