Celtic are absolutely relentless at this moment in time and our most recent 5-1 win over St Mirren indicates that we won’t be slowing up anytime soon.
Of our 25 league games this season we’ve scored 78 goals (an average of 3.12 goals per game) and now find ourselves on track to completely blow away the current goals record for a season of 106!
That record was set by Brendan Rodger’s Invincibles in 2016/17, but if Ange’s side continue to score at the rate they’re currently doing so then we’ll smash through it with about 10 goals to spare!
As it happens the record points tally for a season is also 106 (again by the 2016/17 side) and should Celtic win all 13 remaining games a total of 109 is possible.
Either way it’s going to be an exciting end to the season for the Ange Machine!
