Celtic Play The Transfer Game Perfectly | Juranovic & Giakoumakis Replacements Now In Place

Josip Juranovic has now left the building, and good luck to him.

From a Celtic point of view however his Celtic Park exit has been played perfectly.

The club look set to treble (and may even quadruple) the £2.5m we paid for the full back who turns 28 later this year, and into the bargain have found a ready made (and younger) replacement in the shape of Alistair Johnston.

Rumours of Juranovic’s exit had been circulating since the summer and Ange and the recruitment team have acted swiftly to install his replacement.

The same is happening elsewhere with South Korean striker Hyeongyu Oh coming in to replace Giorgos Giakoumakis, who’s exit seems imminent.

It’s further proof of the refreshing and pro-active approach the club now take to transfers.

Long may it continue.
