Celtic v Shakhtar Donetsk: UEFA Champions League Preview

Celtic take on Shaktar Donetsk tonight (Wednesday, 5.45pm) in Matchday 2 of this season’s UEFA Champions League as we look to get off the mark following last week’s defeat at the hands of Real Madrid.

Shaktar won their open game 4-1 over fellow Group F rivals and currently sit top of the table and the Ukranians should provide tough opposition for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

A certain Marian Shved now wears the No.9 shirt for Shaktar and with three goals in two games will be looking to prove a point against his ex-employers.

Carl Starfelt aside Ange has a full squad to choose from for this one as he targets the result that could kick start our group campaign.

Tino, Mif & Paddy review the game here as part of this week’s Celtic Exchange Weekly.
