Celtic’s Champions League Chances | Players Belief In Ange’s Methods

Celtic’s Champions League hopes were dented by a a 3-0 defeat at the hands of reigning European Champions Real Madrid last week, but the exercise wasn’t the crushing blow that the scoreline may suggest.

In the first 45 minutes against the Spaniards we witnessed the swashbuckling and confident style of play that we’ve now come to expect under Ange Postecoglou and it’s clear that this group of players have full belief in the manager’s methods.

With more adept finishing on the night we could have (should have?) taken the lead, however Madrid handed out a harsh lesson thanks to some clinical finishing of their own via Vinicius Jnr, Luka Modric and Eden hazard.

Tino, Mif and Paddy took time to analyse the performance during this week’s episode of The Celtic Exchange Weekly and to identify the lessons that Ange and his players will have learned during an educational night against the Spanish giants.
