Should Celtic Go All Out to Secure Liel Abada For The Long Term?

As the first major signing of the Ange Postecoglou era, Liel Abada has been a massive success at Celtic Park since his arrival in June 2021.

The 21-year old has recorded impressive numbers in terms of goals and assists, and though he’s been used more sparingly this season than last, he continues to play a massive part in our success.

Now, less than two years into a five year deal, it’s been revealed by his national team manager that Abada has – so far – been reluctant to extend his stay in Glasgow.

On that basis should Celtic be going all out to secure the young wingers future at the club, or will he follow in the footsteps of Josip Juranovic and Giorgos Giakoumakis and seek his future elsewhere?
